Civil protection
Accidents, natural disasters or other emergencies do not choose the place or time of its formation and therefore we must not caught unprepared.
For this purpose it is intended as a system of civil protection tasks and measures to protect life, health and property, based in particular on the analysis of potential threats and taking measures to reduce risks to, as well as establish procedures and actions in the aftermath of emergencies.
The tasks of civil protection under the law 42/1994 Coll the civil protection of population, responsible government ministries, other central government bodies, other central state bodies, regional offices and district offices, autonomous regions, municipalities, legal entities and natural persons.
Under that law the individual has the right to early warning of a danger, to provide individual protection means, and the evacuation and to conceal information about how to protect, for immediate assistance at risk of life, health and property.
Natural persons are required to participate in fulfilling the tasks of civil protection of personal acts, which means any physical and mental activity, which is required in order to protect life, health and property at the time of incident.
