In February 2006, Act No. 24/2006 Coll. about assessment of environmental impact entered into force.The environmental impact assessment (EIA) is one of the first step before implementing an investment plan or change an existing condition. Criteria for the construction, installation and operation of a duty to process the documentation for the assessment of environmental impacts, as defined in Annexes Law 24/2006 Coll. about assessment of environmental impact. Under the same law is carried out impact assessment of strategic documents on environment (SEA).
